Here are some of my more recent animations in their original monochrome format. 17 April 2013 here is a large 115 panel Moon mosaic. 10 April 2013 here is a large 225 frame mosaic photo. 30 March 2013 here is a large prominence on the north-east limb in grade 2 to grade 4 seeing conditions. 6 September 2012 here is a look at AR1564 between 09:40 and 11:58UT 4 September 2012 here is the huge north-west limb lift off event from 08:48 to 12:28UT 2 September 2012 here is AR1560 from 11:27 to 11:55UT in grade 2 to grade 3 seeing 26 August 2012 here is a large prominence on the SE limb from 11:01 to 11:29UT in grade 2 to grade 3 seeing here I have exposed to pick out the chromosphere. 26 August 2012 here is a large prominence on the SE limb from 10:32 to 10:55UT in grade 2 to grade 3 seeing here I have exposed to pick out the prominence itself. 25 August 2012 here is a look at AR1554 at 3.2m focal length with SM90DS in grade 1 to grade 3 seeing conditions. 4 August 2012 here is a huge explosive filament movie. This was such an unusual and spectacular event that I have taken 12 frames from GONG site for El Teide date placed at front end of sequence to show the whole event this sequence now runs from 11:26 to 13:27UT [El Teide date 11:26 to 12:15UT]. Filmed in grade 2 seeing conditions captured with PST. 19 July 2012 here are some post flare loops associated with the end of an M7.7-class solar flare sequence from 08:56 to 11:56UT captured with PST. 3 December 2011 here is a huge limb blast between 11-08 and 11-34UT. PST capture on alt-azimuth mount - seeing grade 2. Captured with PST. 30 September 2011 here is a huge prominence this is a long sequence between 11-22 and 14-30UT. This was shot through my PST. 25 September 2011 here is the huge blast above AR1302. Sequence shown between 15-27 and 15-39UT. 8 September 2011 here is a post flare loop from 15-57 to 16-18UT. |
